Importance of Prayer

What if there is no cell phone network? Simple - can’t communicate, frustrating, irritating, restless, and you go crazy mad. At times one feels like exploding! I wonder whether you are familiar with this kind of unwanted situations. But here, it is a daily nuisance and beyond tolerable at times. For you see, even before you could say “Hello” the network cuts off but your money gets deducted. Not all the time of course but most of the time. Is that fair?

Oh! Sorry for the boring story. Actually I am just trying to make a comparison. Just assume this: You are you, and the satellite or mobile tower from where the signal is transmitted and received by you is God. And in the same way you go through bad experience when you have no cell phone network, so is your life when you have no connection with God.

Whether you believe or not God exists. You don't have to see Him face to face for proof. Just like electricity, you've got to sense, plug-in and feel His power. So start connecting with him. Pray and meditate daily. Seek His guidance, protection and blessings both for yourself and your loved ones. He cares and listens. Begin the day and end the day with prayer. But don’t assume that your life will be problem free. As humans we are bound to experience ups and downs. But when you have a friend in God, the creator and sustainer of all, your earthly experience will be different from those who don’t have.
