So you think that only alcohol kills and drains our revenue? Bad
roads are even deadlier. Firstly, many are unaware that it is leading to
uncountable ‘miscarriages’ in women and thus killing the dreams of many couples
to have children of their own. Secondly, many emergency serious patients have
died and are dying on the way especially in remote areas. Thirdly, all of us
are incurring heavy expenses on vehicle maintenance regularly. Fourthly, it has
led to increase in transportation cost. And all these are because of bad roads. Who will bear the moral
consequences?
Please don’t embarrass us by such stupid remarks that Nagaland
roads don’t last due to incessant rain. Go to Cherrapunjee, the rainiest place
on earth, and see for yourself the road there. It is 45 years since man landed
on the moon. Nagas can’t even build roads till today that is also with money
supplied from outside. Very sorry!!!
