There was no one to lend me $100 to lodge protest, says boxer Sarita Devi

Indian woman boxer L Sarita Devi refuses to take bronze medal at the ongoing Incheon Asian Games.  At the medals ceremony, a weeping Sarita refused to allow the medal to be placed around the neck. She took it in her hand, but left it on the podium. “I have given the medal to Korea. I will go back to India with a clear mind and begin life in the ring afresh,” said Sarita, who felt her maiden Asiad appearance would also be her last.

It is suspected that the bout was fixed. Millions of people watching on TV and boxing experts around the globe have endorsed the complain and came in support of her.

Though she may have been cheated, some people came out openly in condemning her action at the medal ceremony; that she should not have done that. But why??? when nobody wants to listen to you, that was the best way of protesting. Even I would have done that. That was the best way to shame those corrupted boxing officials.

And what were the Indian officials doing??? Did they just went for sight seeing or fiddling with their phones during the bout?? Wake up India, there is much more in sports than cricket.
