Sekrenyi, the premier festival of the Angami Nagas of
Nagaland State of India was celebrated with a difference this year. Princess
Maha Chakri Sirindhom of Thailand graced the event as the chief guest at the
Naga Heritage Village Kisama. Under the theme ‘Fostering unity and oneness.' The event was a great success.
I personally thank the Princess for being here. Hope you
had a great time. Apart from all those festivities and jubilation, the best
part of your visit was the speedy developmental works our government has taken
up like road repairs (of course only those you have taken) and the cleanness
drive. All thanks to you.
One thing I like about VIP visits to Nagaland is the
impromptu developmental activities our government takes up so as to impress the
guests. Looking forward to more VIP visits from outside :)
